Yes the 'good old I've always liked West Ham,' tag is disappearing, we've started to compete with the big boys and they don't like it up 'em.

Im not so sure about that.

The 'West Ham second team' has been around for decades and not because we were a soft touch for 3 pts.

I think the older generation of football fans in general held our game in quite high regard and actually enjoyed the style that we played.

I take that as a great compliment especially as we are returning to our roots in terms of style.
